It’s Baby Season at AWLA

Spring means baby season at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington — a time when our shelter and wildlife teams prepare for an influx of vulnerable young animals who need intensive, round-the-clock care.

Join us for our Kitten & Wildlife Baby Shower and enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at how we care for our tiniest patients during one of the busiest times of year. You may have the opportunity to see some of the baby animals currently in our care, depending on their health and treatment needs.

This is a free, family-friendly event with educational activities for children and adults. Meet the dedicated teams who make this lifesaving work possible and learn how you can support baby animals throughout the spring and summer months.

Baby season requires specialized supplies — from kitten formula and heating pads to small bottles and other essential care items. If you’re able, we invite you to buy a gift from our baby season registry to help us prepare.
